Update September 3: We are open
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 to 6 with garden fresh
produce. We currently have lettuce, chard, lacinato kale, baby boc choy, cucumbers, green beans, yellow
Romano beans, 'Fortex' pole beans, broccoli, nappa cabbage, zucchini, artichokes,
eggplant, peppers, poblano peppers, Skagit sweet onions, red
onions, fennel, 'Charlotte' potatoes, tomatoes, escarole,
radicchio, Italian parsley, and basil. |
Buy local, buy green, buy
higher quality, buy less. Our willow is grown in an
environmentally friendly way; our baskets are handcrafted to
be durable and aesthetically pleasing.
Like many "green goods" our baskets may be a more expensive
purchase initially, but you are getting something that will
last a lifetime while supporting the work of a local
craftsman and farmer.
Our garden fresh produce is
available seasonally. We have a nice selection of vegetables,
apples, pears, plums, herbs, and flowers all grown
here. We have been growing using organic methods since we
began farming in 1982. We started our own business in 1990
selling to restaurants in Seattle and at the Pike Place
Market using the name 'Lombrici's'. Since 1994 we have been
growing here in the Skagit Valley as Dunbar Gardens.
